Timeline of Key Missouri Sports Betting Events

Sept. 16, 2025: Missouri’s regulated sports betting sites will be allowed to accept wagers starting at 12:01 A.M. local time on Dec. 1, 2025. That time will mark Missouri's legal sports betting debut.
September 12, 2025: The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) unveils all of the state's sports betting applicants. Bet365, BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, Circa Sports, DraftKings, ESPN BET, Fanatics Sportsbook, FanDuel, and Underdog Sports. The MGC also stated in the release that if those companies have received a temporary license, they can start offering sports wagering on December 1, 2025.
August 15, 2025: DraftKings Sportsbook and Circa Sports are awarded Missouri's two untethered sports betting licenses. Circa Sports notably beat out FanDuel Sportsbook for the final untethered license.
May 15, 2025: State regulators confirm that Missouri sports betting will launch on Dec. 1, 2025. This includes online and in-person sports betting.
