In order to launch in NJ, PlayUp acquired its online sports betting license through an agreement with FR Park Racing (FRP), the sports wagering license holder of Freehold Racetrack.

The deal sees that PlayUp works with Parx Casino and Penn National, two brands that partner with Freehold Racetrack in central NJ.

The Garden State represents the second US state for PlayUp, which will join fellow Australian operator PointsBet and umpteen other betting sites already live in New Jersey.

As part of the company’s brand exposure strategy, PlayUp is the official sportsbook partner of the NHL team the New Jersey Devils.
